HOW TO REACH THE BIOMA

TRAIN

Travel from Venice to Trieste, or alternatively from Udine to Trieste both lines, terminate at Tri- este central station. Then take bus n° 6 (to the end of the line). During the summer you can al- so take bus n° 36, towards Grignano and get off at the junction for Miramare. Some local trains also stop at Miramare station. It is a 2 minute walk from the station to the upper entrance of Miramare Park and you will arrive at the BioMa after a pleasant walk of 15 – 20 minutes through the botanical garden.

PUBLIC BUS

– From Trieste, take line n°6 (in summer also line n°36), towards Grignano, as far as the junc- tion for Miramare.

– From Trieste airport or Monfalcone, take APT Gorizia line 51, which has a stop at the junction in the road for Miramare.

– From the junction, continue on foot along Viale Miramare to the former Stables.

PRIVATE TRANSPORT

Take the Trieste coastal road (S. REG 14) to the junction for Miramare and follow the avenue leading to the Castle. There is free parking along viale Miramare up to the entrance barrier of the Miramare Park car park, (which you pay for), and also at the port of Grignano (where the western access to Miramare Park is located), and along via Beirut.
